Victor Campbell Haslett

Victor Haslett is currently the Deputy Chairman of Willis Harris Marrian Limited and the Chairman of Property.news.com. He was previously Chairman of Willis Harris Marrian Ltd. for 18 years. In addition, he was Deputy Chief Executive for Willis Corroon Ltd. where he was responsible for over 2,000 employees including training, personnel, insurer relationships and systems. He has also held Chairman positions at Willis Corroon South Ltd., Willis Corroon Credit Ltd., and E.J. Welton Ltd.

He received a prestigious CBE appointment and is a Freeman for the City of London.

Mr. Haslett has formerly held positions as President of the Northern Ireland Chamber of Commerce and Industry; and Chairman of the Multiple Sclerosis Society, NI. He is currently on the board of Sentinus and the Northern Ireland Events Company.

His previous appointments include board memberships for the International Fund for Ireland, Emerging Business Trust, Ulster Community Investment Trust, and the Local Enterprise Dev. Unit (LEDU). His previous Chairman positions include NI Millennium Co., Sports Council for NI, Belfast Marathon Ltd., Bangor Football Club Ltd., Belfast Round Table, and the Home Farm Trust. He has been president of the Kingston-upon-Thames Insurance Institute, Belfast Insurance Institute, Belfast Toastmasters Club, and the Belfast Rotary Club. He was also National Vice-President of the Chartered Insurance Institute and the Regional Vice-Chairman of the British Insurance and Investment Brokers Association.

He was born in Belfast and received his associate degree from the Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII). He is a fellow of the British Insurance and Investment Brokers Association (FBIBA) and the Chartered Management Institute (FCMI), and a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Insurers. He is a member of the Royal Belfast Golf Club and Royal North of Ireland Yacht Club.

Mr. Haslett is married and has three daughters.
