Sister Margaret Ann Moser, O.S.U. Sister Margaret Ann Moser, O.S.U., is a leading educator with experience in teaching and administration spanning nearly four decades. She has served as President of Ursuline Academy since 1989 and is a member of the Board of Trustees. Her distinguished career in education includes teaching and administrative positions with the Ursuline schools in St. Louis and in New Orleans, where she also worked with the Archdiocese in religious education. As President of Ursuline Academy of Dallas, Sister Margaret Ann has directed a successful $10 million capital campaign and a wide variety of development programs including annual giving, endowments, planned giving and other capital projects. As chief executive officer, she is responsible for personnel and budget, educational and development programs, strategic planning, business affairs and facilities. Sister Margaret Ann was an elementary teacher at schools in Texas, Louisiana and Missouri. She has been principal of two schools, St. Peter School in St. Louis (450 students) and St. Angela Merici School in New Orleans (740 students). In addition, she has served as Associate Director of Religious Education with the Office of Religious Education in Springfield, Illinois, and in the Archdiocese of New Orleans. In New Orleans her responsibilities also included service on school evaluation teams. Sister Margaret Ann Moser is a past member of the Boards of Education of Springfield College, Illinois, and Ursuline Academy, New Orleans. She is currently a member of the Board of Trustees and Duchesne Academy of the Sacred Heart, Houston, Texas, and St. Alcuin Montessori School, Dallas, Texas. A native Dallasite, Sister Margaret Ann is a graduate of Ursuline Academy of Dallas, where she attended both elementary and high school. She received a BA in History from the College of New Rochelle, New Rochelle, New York, and earned her MA in Theology at St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas. |
