Pat Hume

Pat Hume is currently a Director of the Northern Ireland Memorial Fund, which assists families and relatives who have suffered directly as a result of the troubles in Northern Ireland. She was an elementary school teacher in Derry for 21 years.

She also served as a member of the governing authority of the Republic's National Broadcaster, RTE. She holds two Honorary Doctorate degrees, from Manhattan College and Misericordia University.

Pat is married to Noble laureate and statesman John Hume, whose constituency office she ran for many years. John and Pat have five children.
