Michael Corboy

Michael R. Corboy currently serves as President and CEO of Corboy Investment Company in Dallas, Texas. He previously served as Chairman of the Board and CEO of AMTECH Corporation from December 1, 1987 until December 31, 1991. He retired from the Board in 1992.

From 1973 to 1987 he served as President of Tocom, Inc., which was acquired by General Partner of New Business Resources — Venture Capital Partnership. Prior to the forming of New Business Resources, he held several executive positions with Texas Instruments from 1957 to 1968, including U.S. Field Sales Manager and Manager of European Marketing and Sales Operation for the Semiconductor-Component Division, Corporation Manager of Investor Relations and Manager of Component Group Strategy.

He has served on several Boards, including the Foxboro Company from 1986 until 1990. In addition, he served on the NetWorth Board until Compaq acquired it in December 1995. During the 1993-1997 period, he served on the Board of Directors for Wyle Electronics of Irvine, California, where he chaired both the Audit and Compensation Committees. Other Board positions included, Family Hospice, Inc. of Dallas, Netspeed of Austin, TX, the Aquinas Funds in Dallas, Tipping Point Technologies of Austin, TX and UltraTest of San Jose, CA.

Mr. Corboy also served on the National Board of the American Electronics Association, was Chairman of the AEA Southwest Council, and Chairman of the CEO Committee of the Southwest Council. He is also President of the School Board of St. Anthony School and serves on the Dave Fox Inner City Trust Fund, the Advisory Board of The Childrens’ Education Fund, the Capital Drive Steering Committee and Board of Trustees of the University of Dallas, and on the Board of the University Medical Center, Inc., all in Dallas.

Mr. Corboy holds a BS degree from the U.S. Naval Academy and an MBA degree from Pepperdine University, and lives in Dallas with his wife Lou Ann.
